Shure's Anti-Counterfeiting Initiatives

Shure combats counterfeiting worldwide although our enforcement initiatives are concentrated in Mainland China, given that counterfeit factories are concentrated in this region.

Online Counterfeiting

Shure is working closely with various websites and online auctions around the world. For example, in order to minimize any sales of counterfeit Shure products, Shure is cooperating with an English language PRC-based website, www.dhgate.com, a business-to-business (B2B) trade solution provider offering one-stop trade services to customers especially in the US and Europe who are interested in purchasing directly from China.

Furthermore, since March 2005, over 45,000 counterfeit items have been reported to eBay. Shure is an active member of the eBay Verified Rights Owners (VeRO) Program and conducts daily reviews of eBay sites around the world for infringements.
