Shure Against Counterfeiting

Despite all superficial similarities to genuine Shure products, counterfeits typically use much lower quality materials and are very unreliable, much less rugged, and offer significantly lower performance and sound quality. Additionally, counterfeits are not covered by Shure’s warranty policy should you need it. They cannot be serviced by Shure or its authorized service centers if they require repairs.

Shure is committed to providing its customers with high-quality audio products. To ensure that you always receive quality Shure products, we recommend that you buy Shure products only from authorized Shure dealers.

Buying from unauthorized dealers or unreliable sources can be risky. The product you receive may be used, damaged, or even counterfeited. Some unauthorized dealers, websites, and online auctions may claim to sell genuine Shure products but actually do not. Typically these products are offered at extraordinarily low prices, which the seller claims to have a “factory-direct connection” or some other special arrangement at or near the source of manufacture. Often the seller communicates solely by a web-based email account, and no after sales support is offered. Even if you manage to purchase a genuine Shure product from one of these suspect sources, it may not be covered by Shure’s product warranty.
